The hangover continues. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have any fun. Ready? Mocktails are served.
The ingredients:
your pencil skirt
your cardigan
your red tee or red polo (or someone else’s in your household)
your colored sock
your jean skirt
your crew neck sweater
your loafers
your flip flops
your blazer
your sweat pants
your oxford style shirt
your cargo pants
your metallic shoe (if none, then your light color/white)
But wait, for any naysayers, let’s get the following out of the way first:
Yes, I realize my “basics” are sometimes not v. basic, i.e. my pencil skirt is bright yellow + my sweats are Tibi Calders, but the outfits here are engineered to work with a true basic version of each thing. Use whatever!
Since this isn’t about shopping, if you see something you don’t own, I invite you not to buy it and just to skip that part and observe how it feels. But because you’ve asked me for links in the past, the ones I have are at the bottom.
I am not trying to deliver every way to pair these items; there are many more ways, but rather just some ways that feel fresh/new, at least to me (admittedly as I note often, an amateur).
Ok so here we go! To the hacks!
