6 Gems! vol. 18: for the love of an old shirt

Take comfort. And give some, too.

You know I love my outfit planning + themes. So the theme this week is LCS — Last Chance Summer. Wearing all those things that say “summer” to you — before the season is over. One of my summer signifiers are my re-loved shirts from A Shirt Story (more on that below). And it occurred to me that shirts are A THING for me. And maybe you too. They are heritage, comfort, dad. I can’t think of summer without worn-in men’s dress shirts, thrown over everything. They are one of those things that is more than the sum of its parts. A kind of security blanket.

I thought I’d do a 6 Gems dedicated to all the shirt things. So button up + let’s go.
