falling hard for THAT necklace in a recent edition of her newsletter, I thought I’d lend a hand.For the uninitiated, the aforementioned “Petra” necklace seemed to drop out of nowhere, as Fireballs sometimes do. If I had to guess, I’d say a combination of factors have led to this widespread adoption of a small, young brand in a competitive market (like knowing the right people in New York) but like a 5-table restaurant that gets a lucky break, you still have to be GOOD to make it work (capitals intended). I’ll let the NYT tell you the origin story. In short, the brand deserves its success. This necklace shows you why. Its’s wisely made — not too specific, extremely wearable. It’s easy to style.
