I am so grateful to have you here as subscribers. One thing I try to do here is listen! And take your requests.

When I shared some lounge pants in my last 6 Gems, Ruth C. asked if she could cut them off! And I’m like “whoa, what’s happening here?” Turns out, she desperately needs easy, breezy shorts for hanging out, getting out, “running around.”

Yes, I have recently written about shorts. But to me Ruth’s ask means, easy on/off (elastic waist!). Light as air. Non-fitted. But not so boxer-y/see through/etc. that you can’t run an errand without giving a free anatomy lesson.

Ruth C is awesome. And I’m sure she’s not alone! It’s getting hot, and this is serious business. (I am not even smiling in some of the photos.) So let’s go.
