I like to think of myself as a thoughtful shopper. Ah, if only we could stop there. Emphasis on the “like to.” I shop secondhand often, wearing it virtually daily. I re-home pieces I no longer wear. I thoughtfully approach what I buy new, including whether it will be re-sellable. And about 5-10 years ago (I’m estimating), I stopped buying fast fashion entirely. Yay, right? Pom poms down, Rach. Because the thing is, I shop a lot. So, instead of burying my head in the sand, I thought I’d bring in a fresh perspective to splash some cold water on my just-out-of-the-Courreges-store-i-fell-into-en-route-to-brunch face. Tiia is a fashion aficionado, the owner of a highly curated secondhand/vintage shop, and a self-proclaimed fashion addict, one who is actually doing something about it, which notably includes inventories of all her purchases here on the ‘Stack.
