I need to confess something: I hate COS.

Today's "what's in store" is actually ... me running out of the store.

So I had a plan for today. Several of you had asked for a review of COS (part of H&M, I should note), or a “What’s In Store” ala my Massimo Dutti one. And so many respected style icons whom I personally find inspiring seem to LOVE COS. So my plan was to meet my dad there, do a live in the store, and then take still photos and write up the best pieces for you all.

Now when went into Massimo, I did it kind of holding my nose (fast fashion) expecting to hate it. But, surprisingly, I found quite a few interesting pieces; writing about it came easily. Given how everyone has been loving on COS, I expected to be overloaded with items to write about.

Only. Only…

If I had to describe my COS experience in a word, that word would be: joyless.
