[First up, a note: Like so many others, I deeply feel for LA, where I have friends I love. If you would like to donate, be sure and vet the organization; I came upon at least one with ties to Christianity, which is not what I felt comfortable with. I’ve danced around this a bit, and now I’ve learned a LOT more. I figured it made sense to put some thoughts together, because I don’t think I’ve seen a real first person account of exactly how this platform works (you may not even know you’re interacting with it) and what that means for you, the subscriber/reader/ingester.
