MORE f*cking packing tips, amirite?
-- 16 Gems you HAVEN'T heard

First of all, I’m late. I packed for Maine this year, yes. But we tend to take the bigger trip in September, as a way to skip some of Miami’s hurricane season. I’m on the plane right now for two weeks in Italy, and everyone’s already talked A LOT about packing. If you feel all “screw all these creators and their performative Mediterranean trips” - please know that I’d rather be on my bed with cats eating a gyro off a paper towel and watching High Town. My hub is the traveler.
But I am really, really good at packing. Why? This is what calms my travel nerves. Also, older + jobs with travel = more packs than avg. I routinely did NYC overnights with a handbag only.
I also somehow feel that packing light is a part of my feminism. I like breaking the stereotype of the clothes horse schlepping all the trunks. I like the feeling that I can hold my own - literally.
But also - I need my stuff.
My holy GP, The “Great Pack,” to me means you get it in a carryon, wear everything, and have everything you need.
Watch my most recent packing session here, then it’s onto the new tips I thought were worthwhile:
