I don’t think “timeless” style exists. Things change! Even if you pick the most classic pieces (Levis 501s, Burberry trench, string of pearls?), chances are you’ll want to wear them differently as the world turns.

And for some of us who like to tap into the electric charge of being part of the zeitgeist and the warm community that can come from exploring personal style together in real time, for those of us experimenting and finding ourselves, learning every time we get dressed, things change a lot! It’s part of the joy.

I look back sometimes and think — I’d do it differently now. So I did, and invited all of you to do it with me.
