So we’d wrapped Mykonos and some of the group, including my hub, went onto Paris for the Olympics and some of us headed home. I headed to a hotel in Boston. And then switched hotels, because that one was so smoky smelling even though there is no smoking — and that made me feel like one of those people — but I was getting migraine-y. I moved into the Copley Plaza. So literally Midlife Eloise at the Plaza.
Spoiler alert: You know how hotels are so fun? Turns out, everything gets old if you do it enough. This week I closed on our new lil Boston rental, signed off on decor, hooked up cable and electric. Moving in next week! Remember how I said I was taking control?
But first, a week of stripes and this repeated refrain: “table for one, near the outlet please.”
