Reunited and it feels so good. And by “reunited” I mean I’m back with my soulmate, Sunday Night Outfit Planning. There’s one perfect thing, and sugar, this one is it.

And what a relief. I hadn’t realized how much I’d grown to rely on the good feelings I get from this practice. And how discombobulating it would feel to wing it for a week on top of everything else that’s changed with my summer migration to New England.

I really wanted to get clarity, so I think that’s why my mind went to “black and white” as a weeklong theme. It delivered the ahhhhh I was looking for.

Onto the outfits …

Monday

What I wore: Kicking it off with a bang in “THE DRESS” — my Phoebe Philo “T-shirt dress.” I wore it with my new to me but pre-loved white flats from The Row via Castanet. Which you can’t see because I’ve kept the dress long because I’m still scared to touch it because I LOVE IT TOOOOO MUCH. And a white ring from CAPSOOL. Jil Sander bag (oooh it’s 40% off). This is a screenshot because I was so excited I didn’t get a still.

Why: When you really want to feel good, wear the damn dress that makes you feel good! I had a couple meetings, and this gives great Zoom with its padded shoulders. And when I ran errands, that was fine too. It’s a cotton dress. The bag helped chill it out.

Outcome: HEAVEN. Wow, clothes make a difference. I suppose I looked a *little* odd in this seaside town, posing in front of hydrangeas and weathered shingles outside the post office. I so didn’t care.
