You, like me, crave someone to unpack all things style with. Someone accessible and authentic, who’s acquired some information over time. Let’s do it together.

• I don’t believe you “either have it or you don’t” when it comes to style — I believe we can learn it, and I am ready to get into it with you.

• I’m truly accessible and approachable. I respond. I answer reader questions.

• I’m a grown up. Literally and figuratively. No snark, no lunchroom b.s. And I understand the things only a 50+ year old will understand.

• I am trying to be a good person, free of judgement — it creates a community of kindness.

• I am a gate lifter, not a gate keeper.

• I love to advance great voices here.

• I will be very imperfect, but I’ll always tell the truth.

• I am an early adopter of secondhand shopping.

• I give lots of value — my posts will always have new information or ideas, and there will always be plenty of them.

• I rarely accept gifts, and I am scrupulously honest with any affiliate linking or other paid promotions. I don’t shop fast fashion, and I always look for reasonably priced alternatives.
