Hi Rachel, and congratulations on your new podcast. So far, part one of today’s podcast resonates so much with me. Feeling comfortable in garments, especially mid-torso,

is an absolute priority for me, and something I’ve struggled to attain over the past few years with all the high-waisted styles in the stores. You also talk about sizing, which made me think about how language fits into the shopping experience. The first thing I usually hear from a salesperson is “What size are you?”. Automatically, so many thoughts come into my mind when I hear this—most of which are negative. I’d much prefer to hear “Is there a size you’d like to start with?”.

Thank you so much. And that is a GREAT point. I am not my size at any given moment. “Is there a size you’d like to start with?” -- that's genius.

Thank you! Now I know how to shop! Ignore the size label, start left to right include the men’s department and prioritize comfort and ease. Now I just need your fabulous eye. Love the podcast form- you are a natural. And the white tshirt? Great nail color…

I can relate to a lot of this and feel the same about weighing myself- I don't own a scale and only know how much I actually weigh once a year when I go to the doctor. I may have been a little triggered by the the foot conversation LOL. But seriously, one of the reasons I have a hard time with my big feet is like you, I don't want bumping up against the end of the shoe.

Brava on playing with this new format- love seeing you (and Louise)! x
