Is our denim "Holy Grail" just an illusion?

I think so. Plus the 3 pairs that currently have my heart.

A couple posts back, I noted that I have an issue with “holy grailing.” I determine I want this thing and give it a “holy grail” status. Many of you wrote me saying you related. And nothing is more ripe for holy grailing than jeans. I’ve been on a quest for some perfect, magical jean pretty much since … the womb? Why is that? I had my ideas, but I also had an expert I knew I could turn to, designer and author Jane Herman of the widely read and greedily anticipated Jane on Jeans. And that eventually unlocked the door to denim nirvana.
