Thank you again Rachel! This post was super helpful …I’m going to apply these tips to my upcoming Florida trip wardrobe but at my (much) more conservative and frugal price points!
This is really good! I am going to work on this from today. I have become, arguably, too comfy in leggings at all times of the day. Challenge accepted!
Super helpful! The shoes that slip on/off easily are key. My short haircut is also good: it requires no fussing or restyling, no matter the weather or the sweat level of a workout.
But here’s another complication that stymies me, and maybe it would make a good additional post: pets! I work from home with a dog. So not only am I always ready for a dog walk, but anytime I sit on the couch, I pick up some dog hair from the pup himself or from the fuzz he’s left behind on the couch pillows..... I’m starting to learn that black wool just isn’t practical, and defaulting to gray or brown in ALL clothes not just house clothes. Because that way I can mix and match, throw on a blazer, take it off again, etc. without worrying too much about the fur.
I get that. As long as you love what you're wearing. I have cats and cat hair -- but I kinda just say to hell with it. I use packing tape if it's really bad.

I am so glad to hear! And grateful that you are able to adapt for you. If I can be helpful in prepping for your trip any other way, let me know! XX

Thank you. Fabulous suggestions!! I am too compartmentalized with my wardrobe and will try this today.
You have the innate style to do this on the next level -- I'll be inspired by you.
That is perfection. One day we cafe together!
