Loved! I was nodding at every term description, especially Transformer. I feel like my vintage St John and Claude Montana pieces from the late 80s and 90s do the trick every time to turn an outfit, even the Denim+T-shirt+Sneaker uniform, into something special.
Love this. I especially like the space for Sleeper Hits... most of my Golden Children were unexpected like that. How does one seek a GC? Is this where the style DNA comes in? I ask because so often when I think I’ve bought a GC, or almost inevitably when I’ve specifically sought a GC, it disappoints me. I think for me the answer is, more playing & wearing & paying attention, not more shopping (for a while).
A GC will fit with most of your adjectives. And at some point you develop your no-fail brands (hence the appeal of Tibi) -- but yes, I think we get better at knowing them over time, and when we tap into the adjectives as well as the ability to ask -- is this an answer or a question?
Thanks. This is such a different way of shopping for me. I’m 53 and having to revise so many practices and habits. I’m lucky I get to do it in a way that’s joyful, playful and fluid.
When is the vocab test? I'd like to get a A+
You are 100000% the student of a lifetime. Phi beta everything.
I would love to read more about Museum Syndrome! It hits home, hard...
Ok in that case -- I'm on it!
Catching up on my reading. I loved the Wrong piece. I think I need to work on it the most
It can be the toughest, I find. My clients have a very hard time! Hmmm -- I would write something on this.

Those pieces sound amazing. I think maybe vintage has special transformative powers.
Just one word for this...Brilliant!
Aww -- thanks so much, Lisa ;-)

I am exactly the same age -- and happy to help! :-)
